A leading care home near Tipton St John has been awarded a FIVE STAR rating for the quality of their food and food management by the inspectors from Environmental health.
Staff at the award winning Angela Court Nursing Home, which provides accommodation and care for 37 elderly residents, were extremely proud.Families of residents are so pleased with the standards at Angela Court including the quality of the home cooked food, they recently spoke to the Care Quality Commision and gave Angela Court a resounding “thumbs up”.
Home Manager Bob Allan said “I am absolutely delighted with our five star rating and glad that the kitchen staff continue to be acknowledged for their hard work and dedication. Every member of staff at Angela Court works extremely hard to make sure we give a five star service and this surprise inspection just proves that it is something we always achieve.”
Staff at the homes were scored in areas such as cleanliness, standards of hygiene and storage and excelled in the different sections resulting in their success.
Angela Court Nursing home, which is operated by the innovative PSP Healthcare, offers a variety of rooms and specialises in dementia care and challenging behaviours.
It boasts an excellent reputation for providing high quality care for some of the most vulnerable adults in the community.
