Three dedicated members of staff at the award-winning Edenmore Nursing Home put their best foot forward as they took part in the national Race for Life event.
Nursing Home manager, Liz, along with senior care assistant Rose and housekeeper Shirley, braved the bad weather to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Liz, who runs the 47 bed EMI nursing home, said: “We had a great day raising money for Cancer Research UK and joining hundreds of other women from across the county.
“It’s a cause that affects many people in the UK and I am proud that I, along with two members of my team, were able to donate some money to the charity.”
All three staff members were given a medal for completing the race.
