Staff at PSP Care Village, one of the most innovative and fastest-growing retirement living groups in the UK, spent the day at the biggest three-day event in the South West – The Devon County Show.
Over the weekend, around 150,000 people flocked to the show where there were hundreds of stalls, fabulous livestock and fine local food, magnificent flowers and gardens.
Throughout the weekend many of the show’s visitors investigated PSP’s shopping avenue bay to find out more about their award-winning care homes as well as the company’s exclusive £10 million care village development in Hatherleigh.
The care village, which is set in a charming location in the heart of Devon, has a selection of 15 one- and two-bed apartments with luxury hotel-style facilities including a cinema lounge and a hairdressing and beauty salon.
The properties are equipped with integrated ‘Eclipse’ emergency call technology, as well as smoke detectors which are linked to the village fire alarm system and CCTV.
There is also video door entry with remote system.
As part of the village there is also an onsite 48-bed care home although this is separate to the village properties.
Operations Director Wayne Shermon said: “It was fantastic to have a stall at such a great country show and we were happy to talk to visitors about Hatherleigh Care Village as well as the Care homes in Sidmouth, Ilfracombe, Braunton and Okehampton.
“The show had such a great turn out and was wonderful to have a walk around the show and see what the other stallholders had to offer.”
