Easter Fun!

Residents at the award-winning Angela Court Nursing Home, near Sidmouth, celebrated Easter in style this week with plenty of yummy treats.

The Easter weekend kicked off with residents enjoying some home-made hot cross buns, Easter biscuits and Simnel cake at the 37-bed home.

Throughout the fun-packed weekend residents helped members of staff create an Easter Tree which showcased a range of their hand painted and decorated Easter eggs.

The weekend was not the only Easter fun the residents of Angela Court were treated to.

Earlier in the week pupils at Tipton School sang for the residents and then were treated to an Easter Egg hunt around the home’s grounds.

They also enjoyed a visit from two donkeys from the local donkey sanctuary which arrived at the award-winning home carrying palm leaves to celebrate Palm Sunday.

Home Manager Bob Allan told us: “As ever we have the care team to thank for a wonderful Easter – bank holiday or no, our kitchen team, domestic staff and carers were in attendance to make sure everything went smoothly.

“Our residents had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the many activities we held for them.”
