Residents of the award-winning Angela Court Nursing Home enjoyed a special celebration this week as families gathered to say ‘thank you’ to mums and grandmas on Mothering Sunday.
Throughout the day residents were treated to lots of Mother’s Day cakes and chocolates as watching a couple of romantic movies.
Surrounded by flower arrangements all the mums in the home, including the female members of staff, were also given a special box of chocolates made by activities coordinator Hazel Tribble.
Lots of family members turned up at the 37-bed home during the day to spend time with their mums and grandmas and lavish them with a Mother’s Day gift.
Two children from Tipton Church congregation also come to visit the female residents and staff and presented them with a bunch of Nosegays adding to the large amount of flowers already at the home.
Angela Court Manager Bob Allan told us: “The home looked fantastic thanks to the efforts of all our staff and the home’s activities coordinators.”
