There was love in the air in Frome this week as some of the town’s oldest and youngest residents worked together to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Residents of the award-winning 60-bed Frome Care Village , on Styles Hill, have been busy preparing for a Valentine’s making handmade cards and baking for the home’s celebratory buffet.
The residents and their families were also treated to live music by a singing duo who entertained by singing romantic songs.
Home Manager Jill Holmes told us: “Valentine’s Day is good fun for staff and residents but is also an opportunity to remember and celebrate loved ones.
“Every year the activities staff and carers work hard to make this a real ‘event’.
“I’d like to say a big thank-you to the dedicated staff members and also to the resident’s families made the day special with their beautiful decorations”.
