A Sponsored wax is being held at the award-winning Edenmore Nursing Home this week as the care team raise cash for comic relief.
One male staff member at Edenmore ‘bravely’ volunteered to have his back waxed in the name of charity.
Edenmore Nursing home is registered to care for 47 elderly residents and pride themselves on the very high standards of care they provide all those that live there.
Care Home Manager, Liz Thompson told us “Our residents love the sense of occasion and always look forward to such events.
“The home is really ‘buzzing’ as our residents are working with the activities team to make our own style red nose decorations that will be put around the home.”
More than £40 was raised during the sponsored wax and staff donations.
