Travelling Panto Visits Edenmore!

Residents of Edenmore Nursing Home enjoyed a time honoured Christmas tradition of watching a Panto with help from The Eva Long Christmas Show.

Many of the residents at the 48-bed home have not seen a Christmas Panto in years so Home Manager Elizabeth Thompson was thrilled when she heard about the concept of the travelling Panto.

Residents and many of their family members came to see the show and were delighted with the fun packed schedule.

Its been a very busy week for the residents as not only did they have the opportunity to enjoy this fantastic show but they have also been treated to a visit from The Jubilee Singers and enjoyed an afternoon at the St johns Garden Centre looking at the Christmas light and enjoying a delicious cuppa with a mince pie or two!

Home manager Elizabeth Thompson said the busy festive season had been a chance to bring together family, friends, and members of the local community. She commented “As always, Christmas seems to fly by – and as always, I’ve been touched by the time and effort invested by staff and the community to make this a special time for our residents.”
