Staff at PSP Carevillages, one of the most innovative and fastest-retirement living groups in the UK, enjoyed a successful weekend at one of the biggest two-day event in South Wales – The Wye Valley Living Show.
Organisers of the event, which is in its first year, saw hundreds of people flock to the show over the weekend where there were plenty of stalls, fine local food, magnificent flowers and gardens.
Throughout the event PSP staff encouraged many of the show’s visitors to explore their shopping avenue bay to find out more about the award winning care homes as well as the company’s exclusive £10 million care village development in Monmouth.
Marketing Manager, Scott Radnedge, who spent the weekend at the event, said: “The Wye Valley Living Show was very successful for us and we had a great number of people turn up at our stall and enquire about our care villages.
“We were very lucky to have had great weather and everyone seemed in great spirits.”
The care village, which is set in a charming location in the heart of the Wye Valley, has a selection of 15 one and two-bed apartments with luxury hotel style facilities including a cinema lounge and a hairdressing and beauty salon.
The award-winning properties are equipped with integrated ‘Eclipse’ emergency call technology, as well as smoke detectors which are linked to the village fire alarm system and CCTV.
There is also video door entry with remote system.
As part of the village there is an onsite 95-bed care home although this is separate to the village properties.
